The George T. Hunter Lecture Series brings renowned thinkers and leaders to Chattanooga in order to broaden the understanding of critical community issues. The goal of the series is to catalyze meaningful community dialogue as well as innovative efforts to build and strengthen the Chattanooga community.
Named in honor of the founder of the Benwood Foundation, the George T. Hunter Lecture Series brings speakers that address issues in the foundation's four focus areas - Arts & Culture, Education, Environment, and Community Building.
The Benwood Foundation is proud to partner with the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to produce the lecture series each year.
